The Bald Eagle
The Bald Eagle has been our National Emblem since 1782 and despite almost wiping them out in the first 200 years of their reign, they’re back in numbers and we love em! With nests weighing up to 2 tonnes, wingspans of up to 8ft and the girls 25% larger than the boys, what’s not to love?
Despite Benjamin Franklin’s view that “the Bald Eagle is a bird of bad moral character that does not get his living honestly”, they’re our national symbol / bird and spirit animal and any American garden should be proud to have one keep watch over it.
Our Bald Eagle is:
- 5.7 inches high by 6.7 inches wide (doesn’t include branch/spike)
- Easily installed with the tap of a hammer (pre-drill hard wood)
- Designed in 1/6-inch bullet-proof mild steel to form a beautiful patina of rust that changes with the seasons
- Shipped to you quickly
- Makes an ideal gift for a proud patriot or someone with a great fighting spirit who soars through life
