Meet the iconic birds that took flight—and never looked back. These aren’t just our most popular pieces... they’re the silhouettes that customers keep gifting, installing, and remembering, year after year.

From the fiery red Cardinal (America’s favorite memorial bird) to the fierce Bald Eagle, the dreamy dance of Hummingbird Honeys to the soulful gaze of the Great Horned Owl—this flock hits every emotional note.

Made from weatherproof Corten® steel, each bird is designed to develop a rich patina over time, blending into nature like they were always meant to be there. All you need is a hammer and a good spot—tree, fence post, deck rail, or somewhere that matters.

Whether you’re gifting, remembering, or just upgrading your backyard vibes… this is the flock to do it with.

Each one comes boxed, ready to become part of Metalbird's world’s largest art project.

Installing your Metalbird is easy as pie (and even more satisfying).

For this regular silhouette design:

  1. Pick your spot – Trees, posts, fences, decks—anywhere with a solid wooden base.
  2. Hold the bird at a slight downward angle – This gives you leverage and a clean tap.
  3. Tap the thickest part of the stake using a hammer or mallet until it’s firmly in place.
  4. Step back and admire your handiwork – You just created yard art with meaning.

Top tip: The patina may take a few weeks to develop depending on weather—rain and sunshine speed things up naturally.

What are the birds made from?
Each Metalbird is cut from Corten® weathering steel—tough as nails and designed to last outdoors for decades.

Will it rust?
Not quite. It forms a stable rust-like patina that protects the steel underneath. It won’t flake, peel, or damage trees.

Is it gift-ready?
Absolutely. It ships flat in a beautiful, custom-designed box that fits most mailboxes—no awkward gift-wrapping or oversized packaging.

Where is it made?
Proudly made in the USA at a family-owned factory. We keep things local to ensure quality and fast delivery.

Can I gift this straight from TikTok Shop?
Absolutely. Our packaging is flat-packed and gift-ready, so it's easy to ship, easy to wrap, and even easier to love.

Each Metalbird is crafted from Corten® Steel, a premium, weathering steel made to last.

When it meets the elements, it doesn’t rust like your old BBQ. It transforms.

That change you’re seeing? That’s patina. A tough, protective outer layer that seals the steel, adds character, and preserves your bird for decades.

This isn’t paint. It’s nature’s way of ageing gracefully.

The Patina Process:

At first, you’ll notice bright orange spots (we call this the teenage phase). Soon enough, the whole bird will turn a bold orange, slowly shifting into deep burnt umber. Eventually, it settles into a moody charcoal that feels like it’s always belonged.

The Result? A piece of industrial art with a heartbeat. No peeling, no fading, just a bird that gets better with age.
