Gift Voucher

Gift cards: a simple gesture with some fine print. Here’s what you need to know about buying, sending, using, and protecting a Metalbird digital gift card.

Purchasing a Gift Card

You can purchase digital gift cards at metalbird.com. Once your order is approved, the gift card is delivered via email to the address you provide during checkout - ready to forward, print, or frame dramatically.

Redeeming a Gift Card

  • Redeemable only online at metalbird.com

  • Cannot be redeemed for cash (unless required by law)

  • Cannot be used to buy another gift card

  • Apply the code at checkout to use the available balance

  • Any unused balance stays on the card for future use

Multiple Payments

If your order total exceeds your gift card balance, you can pay the remainder using any accepted payment method (Shopify Payments, PayPal, etc.).

Expiry

Good news: our gift cards never expire. No ticking clocks or fine-print traps. Use it when you like.

Refunds for Gift Card Purchases

If you bought a product using a gift card and return it:

  • Refunds go back to the original gift card (or a new one if the original’s gone missing)

  • If you used both a card and a gift card, the refund will go to your credit card first, then the gift card

Cancellations

Changed your mind? You can cancel a gift card within 14 days of purchase - as long as it hasn’t been used. We’ll refund it to the original payment method within 14 days of cancellation.

Lost or Stolen Cards

We treat gift cards like cash. If you’ve lost the code, or someone else has used it, we can’t replace it unless you have proof of purchase and we haven’t seen it used yet. Email info@metalbird.com and we’ll see what’s possible.

Disputes or Suspicious Activity

We reserve the right to pause or cancel gift cards if we suspect fraud, misuse, or any funny business. If something looks off, we’ll investigate.
