It’s said that parrots are a little bit like orchids: there are many, many species, each more strange and beautiful than the last. These vibrantly colored birds are capable of mimicking human speech, living up to 80 years, and falling in love, exemplifying everything that’s beautiful and bizarre about nature. Facing heavy threats from climate change, deforestation, and trafficking, we made this pair of parrots to celebrate and raise awareness.
Our Parakeets are:
- 7.5 inches high by 12 inches wide (including the measurement of the branch/spike)
- Easily installed with the tap of a hammer (pre-drill hard wood)
- Designed in 1/7-inch Corten® steel to form a beautiful patina of rust that changes with the seasons
