Hummingbird Plant Stake - 25"
For the plant person with no spare shelf.
A hovering hummingbird sits above the leaves while the stake gives a climbing plant something to lean on. Slide the two sections together, press the stake into soil and guide the stems gently upward. A small garden detail for a houseplant lover, indoors or out.
Steel that changes with the seasons
Corten is weathering steel. Its gray surface changes through orange and brown tones outdoors as a natural rust patina develops. Each setting leaves its own mark, so color and timing vary. Allow water to drain and keep rusty runoff away from pale stone, walls and other surfaces that could stain.
Slide together. Stake into soil.
Slide the two steel sections together, then press the lower end into soil until stable. Guide climbing stems toward the supports and use soft ties if needed. This design is a plant stake: it goes into soil, rather than being hammered into a tree or fence. Keep sharp ends away from children and allow the pot to drain.
A little lift for a plant lover.
The two steel sections pack flat for sending. This is a plant support rather than a standard tap-in bird; join the pieces before placing it in soil. The product photographs show the pieces and how the extension adds height.

AS SEEN IN
Each Metalbird is crafted from Corten® Steel, a premium, weathering steel made to last.
When it meets the elements, it doesn’t rust like your old BBQ. It transforms.
That change you’re seeing? That’s patina. A tough, protective outer layer that seals the steel, adds character, and preserves your bird for decades.
This isn’t paint. It’s nature’s way of ageing gracefully.
The Patina Process:
At first, you’ll notice bright orange spots (we call this the teenage phase). Soon enough, the whole bird will turn a bold orange, slowly shifting into deep burnt umber. Eventually, it settles into a moody charcoal that feels like it’s always belonged.
The Result? A piece of industrial art with a heartbeat. No peeling, no fading, just a bird that gets better with age.
